The different effects of cannabis

Indica

Cannabis indica invented in the Hindu “Kush” region, near Afghanistan. As it comes from a cold, from the mountainous climate it tends to be shorter and have the presence of a bush.  The leaves are fuller, darker and rounder than the sativa plant. The buds tend to grow in clumps. Indica has sativa effects and often used by people who have insomnia. A recent survey showed that more people found relief from pain and insomnia when usuing the indica strains which is comaperd to sativa. This effects might be a result of the higher levels of THC.

Sativa

Sativa has mood lifting and energizing effects and tends to be used by people who have exhaustion and depression. It has also been mentioned to relieve some of the symptoms of ADHD and other mood disorders.

Hybrid

Hybrid have the dominating effects. For example a sativa-dominant strain will be more likely to give energizing effects and a head high.

Ruderalis

C.ruderalis has very low levels of THC linked to the other strains so it is rarely used for recreational purposes. It’s usually used in medical marijuana.

Common or Coveted Strains of Weed and Effects

New types of weed sometimes have interesting names that are commonly based on their effects, origin or the way they smell or appear. Some examples include like Willy’s Wonder, Purple Urkle, Permafrost, Pineapple Express, Island Sweet Skunk and Strawberry Cough. The subsequent are a few of the common or coveted strains of weed and the effects they are familiar to have:

Purple Kush

It is a pure indica strain which has a full and relaxing body high. It has a high THC alignment. Because of its skill to encourage physical relaxation, it is usually used by people who have chronic pain, depression or anxiety. It is also used by people who want to release situational or momentary pain.

Sour Diesel

Sour Diesel is a type of hybrid strain that typically has the highly revitalizing effects of sativa. It has some of the physical relaxation properties of indica and very strong in THC. The high generally results in a head rush. 

It tends to be used by people who have anxiety, mild stress or depression. It has also been described to relieve body aches and pains. Many people use it to rise their craving when they are experiencing a reduced desire to eat. The high from sour diesel can be overwhelming and lead to feelings of paranoia for some people. This is most probable due to its high THC content.

Blue Dream

Blue dream is another hybrid strain of weed that is somewhat sativa-dominant. It gives an enthusiastic brain high that can rise inspiration and intensify focus. Some people define it as having relaxing and pain-relieving effects. People who have chronic fatigue, depression or a lack of hunger have defined blue dream as having healing effects that recover these conditions. People have also designated it as releasing chronic pain and migraines.
