TASTY CANNABIS RECIPE
People are usually found to smoke cannabis directly. But many are unaware of the fact that pots can be cooked, baked or sprinkled into relevant food items in order to enhance the taste. In addition to having normal joint, for getting versatile taste new recipes can be tried out for example; weed chocolate, cannabis butter, and cannabis gummy jelly or weed chocolate cake or cookies etc.
- Decarboxylated cannabis
Decarboxylaed cannabis are activated raw cannabis into an enhanced potent form. Decarbing can be done in various ways. Here is the recipe of one of the easiest way using available kitchen tools.
Tools:
- Baking tray
- Aluminium foil or parchment paper
- Raw cannabis
Process:
- Firstly pre heat the oven to 225 °F for few mins and set the oven rack in the middle to ensure ideal temperature.
- Cut a piece of aluminium foil according to the size of the baking tray and lay it across the baking tray.
- Lightly break the cannabis to the size of grain of rice and spread it across the aluminium foil and then lay another layer of aluminium foil on top.
- Place it in the oven for 45 minutes. After 45 minutes remove the baking tray from the oven and let it cool for 30 mins in room temperature. Cannabis will be lightly toasted and golden brown in colour.
- Once the cannabis are ready, they can be stored in storage containers.
- Cannabis chocolate
Here is the recipe for the easiest and tastiest chocolate weed. Even though it is super tasty, it requires no expertise in making it. It is no hard for the beginners also.
Ingredients:
- 3 bars of dark chocolate or milk chocolate
- 2 gram of Decarboxylated Nuts, dried fruits or other decorative as per need.
Process:
- Melt the chocolate bars. The chocolate bars can be either placed on a double
- Boiler or in micro oven.
- Add the Decarboxylated cannabis into the melted chocolate and stir it swiftly.
- Once the Decarboxylated cannabis is completely mixed with the melted chocolate, place into the desired mould.
- Add nuts, dried fruit or edible pearl for decoration. This step is completely optional.
- To ensure there is no air bubble, tap the mould gently on the table and put in the refrigerator until solidified.
- Cannabutter
Cannabutter is one of the most important ingredients for many cannabis recipes. It can be used in replacement of regular butter or oil.
Ingredients:
- Unsalted butter- 1 stick or ½ cup
- Finely grounded cannabis bud- 1/4th ounce
Process:
- Take the butter in a pan and melt it in low heat. Add grounded buds to the melted butter and stir frequently. Shimmer in flame for around 45 minutes.
- Strain the butter and pour in a glass jar with an air tight lid. Discard the plant matters.
- Use the cannabutter immediately or refrigerate it for further usage.
- Cannabis chocolate cake
There are few people on earth who doesn’t like dessert. It must not be different for weed lovers as well. Here goes the recipe for the easiest weedy dessert.
Ingredients:
- Melted chocolate – 200 grams
- Soft cannabutter – 250 grams
- Sugar – 200 grams
- Eggs – 5 piece
- Vanilla extracts- few drops
- Flour- 350 grams
- Cocoa powder – 2 table spoon
- Baking soda – t tea spoon
- Milk – 1 cup
- Lemon juice – few drops
Process:
- Preheat the oven at a temperature of 180 °C.
- Melt the chocolate in oven or double boiler
- Add lemon juice to the milk
- Mix all the dry ingredients together; flour, cocoa powder and baking powder
- Mix suger, egg and cannabutter one by one in a blender.
- Add vanilla extract and milk to the egg mixture
- Add flour mixture and fold gently
- Brush the baking tray with oil or butter
- Pour the batter into the tray and place it into the preheated oven
- Bake for around 50 mins. Demould the cake and serve it once cooled
- Cannabis tincture
Alcohol based cannabis extracts are usually called cannabis tincture. It is very simple to prepare cannabis tincture.
Ingredients:
- Decarboxylated cannabis
- Glycerine, vodka, beer, ram, brandy or any alcohol
Process:
- Grind the decarboxynated cannabis
- Add it to a glass container like a jar with lid.
- Pour alcohol to the jar and close it
- Leave the jar to a dark place for at least 2 weeks. Shake the mixture regularly, possibly in every 2 days.
- Strain when ready and pour it into a bottle.
