CANNABIS PLUMBER JOINT & HOW TO ROLL THEM

For the more experienced cannabis enthusiasts, the art of rolling a joint is something that they have most likely already mastered. But you can always resort to some pretty neat things that can be done to spice things up, and that too without the help of any fancy devices, or addition of concentrates.

People who consume cannabis often enjoy rolling it into a plumber’s joint. A plumber’s joint is basically a joint that is rolled with a stick in the middle that is eventually pulled out to help air flow through the joint and to prevent canoeing. It is done to provide increased airflow and even burning of the marijuana in your joint. A plumber’s joint is the only way to roll a hundred percent cannabis joint that will smoke properly. A lot of people look at the result of a stylish joint and consider the process to be too complicated to be worth the effort. But this isn’t entirely true. Each loving step adds a unique benefit. A plumber’s joint burns much slower as compared to regular joints. Because of the dramatic increase to airflow, the way a plumber’s joint burns, it is unbeatable without a little extra elbow grease. The benefit of rolling your cannabis in a plumber’s joint is that there is much more airflow, and it leaves no gap between your cannabis and the paper. This enables you to get a smooth even smoke with each puff.

To roll your cannabis into a plumber’s joint, you first need to place a kebab stick (or toothpick) in front of your rolling paper with the glue strip facing away from you. You then need to fold the glue strip back over your kebab stick (or toothpick) and roll some of the paper around it, and then seal the glue strip by licking it. You would then like to cut off the extra paper (or burn it off if you like). Now roll a couple of filters around one end. You can use a glue strip to hold the filters in place. You then need to grind your cannabis. If you are looking to go for a plumber’s joint then breaking it up by hand will not do. You would want a nice and even consistency that will easily mold around the kebab stick (or toothpick). The best way to get a good consistency is to use a grinder. Otherwise, you will not get the even burn that you would be looking for in your plumber’s joint. After this roll the grinded cannabis around the kebab stick (or toothpick) and then fold the top and close it. Finish your joint by tightening up the rolling paper with a slow, back and forth motion between your fingers and then lick it to fasten it into place. This will give you a good airflow, no matter how tight you pack it, or if you simply roll it with kief. But you need to keep in mind not to inhale too hard when smoking, otherwise you stand a risk to burn yourself.
