How to extract THC

There are so many methods and techniques for extracting THC. Some of permit exceptional purity margins, even near to 100%, although others offer resin with 60% purity. While the approaches may be artisanal, behind them lies a whole science based on chemistry. The pure extraction of THC is viable only if the right methods are used. Mechanical extraction methods is the best way. With the help of this methodology the percentage of hashish THC is usually high in purity, as long as you apply it properly. THC extraction can also be done by physical-chemical method, that are often more complicated and sometimes risky. In this case we are talking about processes of extraction and not just separation of hashish THC. We don’t want to fall into theoretical issues, but you should know that this feature is significant. Marijuana, like any other vegetable, has its conditions when it comes of planting and harvesting. If you want to extract hashish with high quality THC you must not negligence any aspect. Idea of this method is to be able to extract the best trichomes of the plant (a trichome is a very small part of plants and if we speak of marijuana they are very significant since they concentrate great part of cannabis properties.

How to extract THC from dried flowers:

The first thing that you must have the marijuana sprouts dry and well preserved. This is done in hermetically airtight glass containers, while you must open them to air them during the first 5 days. Also there are techniques where they are frozen. In this way the things of the substance are well-preserved intact. But to keep it without freezing suggests a process of maturing and preserved of 4 to 6 months.  This process consists of separating and repeating the sieving by means of meshes of various sizes, using dry flowers.It can also be done by manual shaking or with machines. With the dried flowers, we follow a sieving procedure that permits to take as many trichomes as possible. We can use silkscreen meshes, ideal or filtering out “garbage” and keep the best. For the basic hash, the first mesh of 160 microns will be the starting point. It will go to an intermediate mesh of 70 microns from there. What rests here is “the best of the best”. All that’s left is to pass it through the 45-micron mesh, and what’s left there will be the “second best”. The leftovers that pass are of “third quality”

This is the rough clarification. The sieving process can have differences in the number of meshes, and it’s expected that the greater the number of meshes, the better the result.  Some tools use a system of 190- 160-70-25 (wherever anything less than 25 and more than 190 is castoff). This is a simple basic way for pure THC extraction, by purely automated means. The variant of doing it with frozen flower is not very dissimilar. At the end, you must collect the trichomes with a card and store them in resin form through a pressing procedure.
