Cannabis tradition has become much more mainstream as states continue to legalize it. So, cannabis festivals have become a great way to not only celebrate the culture surrounding this plant, but to absorb much more info about it.

HempFest, Seattle

HempFest is one of the biggest marijuana festivals in the world. It was known as the Washington Hemp Expo in 1991. Just 20 volunteers staffed the event and 500 stoners showed up for the first festival. This festival has grown from a small gathering of neo-hippies into a huge, professional event that appeals stoners from all over the country.

Hash Bash

The city is one of the most generous in America, so “laid back” is the order of the day. There is just one issue: hash bash is held at the University of Michigan and the school forbids pot on its campus (the rest of Ann Arbor is much decriminalized).

Marijuana Business Conference & Expo

The entrepreneur concerned with Marijuana Business Conference & Expo bills its self as the biggest marijuana business convention in the country. More than 1000 experts and financiers come to the Las Vegas conference in November from more than 30 states and 10 nations. Dozens of speakers and hundreds of displays will be available during the three day event and networking prospects prosper. There will be almost 30 new classes, a “marijuana business crash course” and a networking breakfast focusing on women owned businesses.

Oregon 

To get a feel for the history of cannabis in the state of Oregon, take the OR History 420 bus tour. You can see multiple locations through the Portland area that are important to Oregon’s marijuana movement-there will be a stop at collective Emerging dispensary to buy some smoke which is trailed by a group discussion on why marijuana culture is such a big deal.

Pennsylvania Cannabis Festival

This festival held in Kutztown. There is arrangements on live music, PA and hosts over 150 vendors and food. There are also many cannabis speakers and discussions about the social and political influences of the drug. The most important feature of this festival, in difference to many others. This festival is that it is also pet-friendly.

National Cannabis Festival (DC)

The week of the festival is paired with the National Cannabis Policy Summit. This Summit focuses on healthcare workers, gathering a diverse group of advocates, and leaders from the government and business sectors. There are many diverse levels of the experience that are available to the public. For example, VIPs receive a box with many dissimilar cannabis connected items (papers, grinder, and pen/charger), special access to free shirts, BBQs, and deluxe lounges.

Great Alaskan Cannabis Bowl

At the end of July, this annual event takes place and is used to celebrate the business and Alaskan culture. The location is Settlers Bay Golf Course and it needs tickets to be entered.

There is a harmonious festival that continue through the day. At night time, there is a Cannabis Awards show. There are 7 different categories and around 20 awards given according to categories.
